The Sequel of G-8's Hotpot Party! :d

By Lasmarya Hadi Purwanto - July 21, 2015

Hi, there! :D:D
I've told you to stay tune, and here I'm back with the sequel of the Eid Mubarak's hotpot and grill party that we had in G-8's basecamp!
We bought a lot of ingredients for the Eid Mubarak's Eve party, thought that we're all vacuum cleaner, and we would be able to finish all the food, and in fact, we're wrong. Unlike vacuum cleaner, our stomachs definitely have maximum limit :O We're humans, anyway. Err.. of course, yes, we're humans, what else would we be? Emm.. don't bother. Just talking to myself. Haha.

Actually, it's not that we bought too much, well, just because we need only one stick of corn, and they somehow sell it three per one pack, doesn't mean that we could tear off the pack, and take one out, and pay for the price of three, it doesn't work that way right? Although we only need one instead of three, we still had to buy those three. You get what I mean? We bought what we had to buy, and since they sell it that way, we ended up with a lot of extra ingredients.
The other way to explain it, is that all the ingredients are enough for around 8-10 people, and we're short of personnel, as we're missing out Karina and Wesley.

So, we kept the ingredients for 3 days, as the host of the basecamp went out of town for those three days, and we gathered up again to finish off all the remaining ingredients. Nom nom. And this time, with full members :p

We got some beef bacon, sausages, nuggets and a lot of vegetables left. We're lucky enough to have +Winda Chai and +Daniel Jiang to cook for us and they successfully turned them into scrumptious dishes: Hotpot Soup with Chicken Stock, and Cap Cay :dd

The rest of us, (read +Diana Liu , Karina, and me) were helping out in the prepping, while these three guys were busy taking selfies. Wkwkwk.

And, since we're all big-eaters, yes, all of us, (to G-8 members, if you're reading this, don't be shy, i know you are! haha) the food was all wiped out in about 15 minutes, far shorter than the time we took for prepping and taking pictures. See, what I mean, now? Haha

(They said, "Once you're full, a smile will come out naturally." It is indeed. :) Wefie with full members after 7 months. Looking forward to another full members gathering!)

This is how I spent most of my Eid Mubarak's holiday, hanging out with these guys!
How was yours? I hope it's as exciting as mine. :D

See you again soon,

xoxo
