The next stop on this weekend's "movie-marathon" list was "Crazy Stupid Love" (2011).
This movie is also recommended by the same friend as the one who recommended "Easy A" to me. Well, I should say that I love this one a lot better than the other one. (Sorry, again!)
The title in the DVD cover written down as "Crazy Stupid Love" but when the movie started, the title is written as "Crazy, Stupid, Love". Somehow, this kind of intrigued me. i liked the title with commas a lot better than the one without it. "Crazy Stupid Love" simply means the love which is crazy and stupid (note that "crazy and stupid" is adjectives here.) While in "Crazy, Stupid, Love" it means "It's crazy, it's stupid, and it's LOVE!" See the slight difference? Well, don't mind it if you don't. I admit I'm not good at expressing myself. :[
The story line is quite simple, until it gets entangled in the climax. I love the three generations love story. Really unique. The teenagers', the youngsters' and the middle-ageds'. And i really love the scene where the character gathered up his courage just to tell that only one person how much he loves her. i really love the way they blurt out their thoughts in the simplest yet the most romantic way ever.
And btw, all the casts in this movie are indeed great actors. You can't be doubt about Steve Carell and Julianne Moore's acting. They are just AWE-SOME!
This is another recommended movie from me. It's funny, interesting and let you know that you can believe in soulmate, that there will be someone out there who's right for you. :)
p.s : Ryan Gosling looks extremely cool, sexy and appealing in this movie. <3<3
